Priority & Urgent Fast-Track Repair Services

Effective Date: 5 June 2026

At AKM Repairs Ltd, we understand that certain hardware failures require urgent attention. This is particularly relevant for businesses relying on GPU compute infrastructure, AI workloads, research systems, and time-critical production environments.

Our priority service tiers are designed to provide expedited engineering queue placement and faster handling, while maintaining full diagnostic integrity and component-level repair standards.

Priority handling affects queue position and allocation of engineering resources only, not the quality, depth, or methodology of technical work performed.

Service Principle

All devices, regardless of priority level, undergo the same structured diagnostic process, thermal validation, and component-level repair standards.

Priority services do not bypass diagnostic procedures or quality control checks.

Standard Service (Included)

This is the default service level for all customers.

  • Standard chronological queue position
  • Full diagnostic and component-level repair process
  • Turnaround depends on workload and fault complexity
  • No additional prioritisation fee

Priority Service — £25.00

Suitable for non-critical but time-sensitive repairs.

  • Elevated queue position above standard intake
  • Target turnaround: approximately 1–2 weeks
  • Faster initial diagnostic allocation
  • Suitable for backup systems, secondary workstations, and non-production hardware

Expedited Service — £50.00

Designed for active systems requiring reduced downtime.

  • High-priority queue allocation
  • Target turnaround: 2–4 working days (where feasible)
  • Accelerated diagnostic scheduling and bench assignment
  • Suitable for business-critical workstations and active workloads

Urgent Repair Service — £100.00

For critical system failures affecting operations or productivity.

  • Highest available queue priority within engineering workflow
  • Target turnaround: 1–2 working days (subject to complexity and parts availability)
  • Immediate triage on arrival
  • Priority allocation to available senior engineering capacity where appropriate
  • Continuous testing during repair process where required

Availability is limited and dependent on daily engineering capacity.

Why Use Priority Services?

Priority handling is suitable for:

  • AI & GPU compute downtime
  • Research and engineering interruptions
  • Production workstation failures
  • Time-sensitive commercial deadlines
  • Infrastructure nodes requiring rapid recovery

Important Service Conditions

To ensure fairness, transparency, and consistent service quality across all customers, the following conditions apply:

  • Priority fees relate to queue position and engineering allocation, not guaranteed repair speed or outcome
  • Turnaround times are estimates and may vary depending on fault complexity and parts availability
  • Complex faults (including multilayer PCB damage, liquid damage, or extensive board-level failure) may extend turnaround times
  • Any required external parts sourcing may affect estimated completion times

No Fault Found (NFF) / Non-Repairable Cases

If a device is assessed and:

  • No fault is reproducible, or
  • The device is deemed beyond economical repair (BER),

the priority service fee will still apply to cover allocated engineering time, diagnostic work, and testing resources.

Where appropriate, a technical assessment report will be provided explaining the findings.

Transparency & Engineering Integrity

All repairs are carried out using the same diagnostic procedures, component-level standards, and thermal validation processes regardless of service tier.

Priority service affects scheduling and queue handling only.

Booking a Priority Service

When submitting a repair request, please clearly indicate your selected service tier.

For fastest intake processing, we recommend using a tracked next-day delivery service where possible.
